Berry Yogurt Mash

You know those days when you just step out of the bed all groggy and hungry, and need an instant and urgent sugar high? No! Okay, it happens to me sometimes. And those, incidentally, are also the days when I feel particularly lazy, and want a quick, assembled breakfast. This is my dirty little secret recipe for fixing all morning blues. And works quite well on Mondays too!

Ingredients
1 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
½ cup reduced fat cottage cheese
½ cup blueberries (I had to use tinned ones as fresh were not available. You can also use fresh, sliced strawberries)
2 tablespoons granola
1 teaspoon crushed walnuts or almonds

Preparation
In individual cups or a large bowl, combine the yogurt, cottage cheese, berries, and granola. Sprinkle the nuts over the top.Sit back on your most comfortable chair, and enjoy!

HEALTH NOTE:
Walnuts are packed with many important B-complex groups of vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B-6, and folates.
